The kids got invited over to their Aunt Kays house for a little summer fun. She is such a nice aunt and her husband is great to. Always thinking of the kids and doing sweet things for them. They invited the boys over to swim and have lunch on Friday afternoon. After Dax got out of school we headed down. They had 2 big boys pools set up and 1 little pool for Landon. They had lots of outside toys and bubbles. Layne's mom and Kay are sisters so Lonnie brought Grandma Rushworth to so she could see the kids playing around. They made us a picnic lunch and the kids had a blast!! They were splashing around, playing baseball, blowing bubbles for a good 3 and a half hours. About a half hour before we got ready to clean up Landon got stung by a bee I felt so bad he cried so hard and for like 10 minutes.. Kay covered it up with some stuff to take the sting away and promptly stopped his crying with Jello and lots of whipped cream. It was so much fun and I hope we get to do it again before summer is over. This is really what family is all about.
