Holy smokes!! 1 year away from double digits I can hardly believe it!! This kid is growing up so fast. He is the best big brother anyone could ask for, he is smart and learning so much! He is great at soccer, football and even four square. He is such a sweet kid always helping me out and helping out his siblings. He loves scouts and is doing an amazing job he just moved into the Bear den on his birthday. He loves his dogs, and likes to ride his bike. For his birthday he asked for a Harley so we found him a kid sized one so that along with a Lagoon season pass were his big presents this year. He wanted to have a army themed birthday party so thats just what we did. He had lots of friends and family come he is one lucky loved and supported kid! For the day of his birthday we let him pick dinner anything or place he wanted to go... he picked steaks on the grill at home. That boy loves his steaks!! It was a great day of celebrating Dax. On his birthday we went and did his birthday pictures downtown and then I surprised him with lunch at school. I'm glad he doesn't think hes to cool for his mom to come have lunch with him yet... im sure that day is coming soon. We are so lucky to have Daxton here with us. I wouldn't trade this kid for the world. I wish I could bottle up his kidness though ha ha.. he is growing up so fast! Happy Birthday Daxton we love you!!!

This year we made up a team for Tiara for the Great Strides walk. It is an amazing walk where all of the money made goes to the cystic fibrosis foundation to research medications and ultimately a cure for C.F. right now CF stands for cystic fibrosis but we are praying everyday that it stands for cure found. We had a team of 29 people this year that walked with us any many many more who donated. Our team raise $1,350 which is a huge accomplishment for our first year. Our team name was Tiaras Triumph. We had yellow shirts made with the purple CF symbol and a crown for Tiara. A nice guy helped us out with the shirts and only charged us a few bucks per shirt. We are so blessed. The walk was amazing it was a 5k downtown it was amazing to see all the love and support surrounding the disease. It was nice to finally meet some of the cute kiddos of the mamas that I talk to often and go to dinner with sometimes. These kids and even grown ups with CF are amazing they are strong true fighters! They had a huge carnival where the race started and gave out all kinds of free stuff. It was such a great event. I cant wait to get started for next year!! We are so blessed to have the love and support of so many people. We cant thank everyone enough for all that they have done and continue to do for us. Our family gets the benefits of so much love, support and kindness so thank you thank you thank you to all of our supporters out there. We are very blessed! We are getting closer and closer to a cure each day and I couldnt be more thankful. Heres to praying it comes sooner than later :).

Last week on the 14th I turned the big 3-0!!! I thought I might die ha ha but alas I pulled through. My birthday was seriously a celebration for a few days long I was so spoiled! On Saturday Layne threw me this big birthday party where he invited all of our friends over and got my mom to come watch the kids so that we could have fun and go out. The party was so much fun and I was given so many thoughtful gifts!!! Layne surprised me with a new outfit including dress, shoes and earnings he went all out! At work my team threw me a big party they decorated my desk, wrapped up some presents gave me a gift card and brought doughnuts for the team to share! They are awesome I am lucky to work with some amazing people! Then on my actual birthday I took Tiara and Landon to the cemetery and my dad met us there for a picnic lunch with Kael might seem weird to some but its what I really wanted to do! Then I helped volunteer in Landons class and we came home we went out to dinner and Layne surprised me with a new bike!! I am really looking to get fit this summer so I am so excited! Now we can all go on family bike rides since everyone has one it will be great times! I am so lucky and so blessed to be loved by so many! I got so many well wishes on face book, text messages and calls also that I really felt the love. I think this was perfect way to start out my 30's!! Here's to many more.... now I just have to plan a super amazing 40 bday party in a few years for Layne to try and compete with what he did for my 30's :) I am one lucky lady!!

Mothers Day this year was a nice one! We relaxed in the morning. The kiddos gave me all of their cute things they made at school, Layne gave me this beautiful necklace with a extra chain from him and the boys and then for dinner we went over to my mother in Laws for a get together with everyone. I wanted to head out to the cemetery but it was freezing cold so I decided to hold off and go on my birthday. I am so thankful to be a mom. I cant even describe the joy I get from each of my kiddos. Mothers Day is always a bit tricky though. I get caught up in all of the emotions of one of my children missing. What I would give to have all o them here with me on this earth. I try and not complain though because there are many women out there that would give anything to have just 1 child and for one reason or another they cant. This always stings my heart so much for them and I never feel like I have the right words to say. The pain for them is just as strong if not stronger then the pain I have with one missing. I love these women I hope they know that... there are a few with in our families and it breaks my heart. I am so very thankful for each of my kiddos. They teach me so much and help me to learn so much and grow as a person. They defiantly help me strive to be a better me and a better mom. I would give the world for my kids!! I love them all to the moon and back! I am also very thankful for an amazing mom who taught me how to be a mom. She is the most giving, thoughtful, kind women I have ever met. She is the kind that would give the shirt off her back. I am so thankful for her and all that she has taught me. She teaches me how to be strong, loving and the best kind of mama I can be!!
