Love Day....

Valentines day was so awesome this year. We had it span over a few days to keep the love floating.

Wednesday Layne was a awesome daddy and helped Daxton and Stefon build their boxes for school. Stefon choose a minion and Dax wanted soccer. Layne did an amazing job on both we also went to the cemetery to show Kael some love for the holiday !!! Thursday we went to dinner as a family for sushi and Chinese food to one of our favorite restaurants to beat out the busy crowd on Friday. Friday we gave the kids their Valentine gifts and Layne and I headed to work. I had been at work for about an hour when this beautiful bouquet of roses showed up I was shocked to say the least. Layne and I agreed to not do gift this year because we got a new living room set. They were beautiful though and I LOVED them!! Once our work day was done we headed home to have dinner with our friends and their kids to my surprise Layne had another gift a new purse and a wallet for me he knew mind had been breaking and picked out the perfect one (luckily I had made him a little love bag with all of his favorite treats, snacks and a new shirt). The men made the dinner steak stir fry which was amazing and us gals made dessert we made peanut butter cups cheesecake and Oreo cupcakes. It was all so yummy!!! Saturday we decided to take a little road trip up to Wyoming to have breakfast with Layne's older brother and girlfriend and then we spent a few hours up there visiting and the kids playing they always love to visit their uncle Rich. It was a beautiful weekend spent with the ones that we love! Family time is so precious and I love that the whole weekend was about our family and not just Layne and I. We get plenty of chances to have date nights and so I really loved that this weekend was for all of us. I sure love my sweet kiddos and hubby. I am one lucky gal to have such amazing people in my life!!

10 months and counting!!

This little miss turned 10 months old on Feb 2nd. I am so blown away with how much she has learned and grown this past month. She soaks up everything like a sponge and continues to develop the funnest little personality! She is talking up a storm her new words are gramma, no no, hi along with all of the others she has already been saying. We got the green light from the CF clinic to start her on some dairy products so she has gotten to try eggs, yogurt, oreos with milk, enchiladas and bean and cheese burritos. She has also tried cherries, strawberries, plums, waffles, pancakes with syrup, spaghetti and graham crackers. We got her some sippy cups to start the weaning of the bottle process her favorite one is the one with a straw! She thinks she is pretty big stuff now that she can drink through a straw and has tried some apple juice and pear juice and water in her sippy. She loves to blow kisses, shake her head no, blow kisses and play patty cake. She loves to stand and walk holding our hands and has mastered crawling and scooting to get to the things she wants! She is so sweet with her baby dolls and loves to give them kisses.  This was a big month because she finally, finally got her first tooth about 2 weeks before she turned 10 months. I was starting to worry she wouldn't get any teeth. Silly, silly me. Tiara did have a 4 day stay in the hospital this month due to some cellulite she got from a infection in her blood stream. She was a trooper and fought through it like a champ. She is such a strong little fighter.  This little lady weighed in at 17 lbs 10 oz and is 28.5 inches long. She is now in size 3 diapers. size 2 shoes and and mostly 6-9 month  clothes and 12 month pj's because her legs are to long for the 6-9 month ones. We are so in love with this little lady. Her brothers adore her and are always playing toys with her and teasing her. She loves to give big bear hugs and snuggle when shes sleepy. She loves the blankie close to her face when she is trying to go to sleep and she is only using the binky now when its sleepy time. Each day we have we are so thankful. Tiara is such a joy and an amazing addition to our family!

Super Bowl 2014

Its so nuts to think its already Feb of 2014 time seems to fly by!! This year we had some friends and family over to watch the Superbowl. Our team missed it by 1 game so we were really just watching for the fun, commercials and of course the half time show. It was such a blast to be around friends and family and we were stocked with tons of yummy food.We had 3 tv's going so that there was plenty of space and everyone could see!!  All though I LOVE football I think the food is my favorite part of this game lol. It was such a fun night being around those that we love!!

HELP!!!!

!

Hey all it is that time of year again!! We are doing our 5th annual blanket drive to donate in Kaels honor for Primary Children's. Remember they need to be new or gently used blankets or stuffed animals. We will donate them on April 12th Kaels 6th birthday. Can you believe he would be 6?? Where has the time gone? I am really missing him so much. When I snuggle Tiara and breathe in her scent I try to go back and imagine, feel remember what Kael smelt like, how he snuggled the way he felt in my arms. I remember some things but stupid memory is failing me and its hard to remember all of the fine details sometimes its nice to just take a moment and remember. So please, please, please if you can donate a blanket or stuffed animal help out those sweet kiddos at the hospital and help me to keep Kaels memory alive!!!

Next item of business... we are creating a team to do a walk downtown Salt Lake for Cystic Fibrosis. Please, please, please join our team!!! I am asking each person who joins to please donate 10-20.00 if possible to our team. All of the money goes to research medications to help cure and better treat cystic fibrosis. We are on the verge of a huge break through. These medications would greatly help Tiara and all of the Cystic Fibrosis patients out there. If you cant walk with us or don't want to please just donate on the link under my name. Any amount of money will help!!! If you are out of state you can join our team and walk or run 3 miles in your home town and I will send you a shirt. We are making Tiara's Triumph Shirts for everyone who joins our team and donates at least 10.00 and I would love for you to have  one!!! Here is the link to our team page:
