Welcoming 2015!!

New Years Eve was a little different this year. Laynes mom's water heater broke so he was stuck fixing that :( made for a long night. We had made plans with friends and we didn't want to let the kids down so I took them to our friend party. We still had lots of fun playing games, chatting the night away, watching the ball drop and having breakfast at midnight. All of the kids made it till midnight even Tiara I was shocked! It was so a fun time yet bitter sweet missing Layne. He and I had a redo that weekend though which was lots of fun and made up for it. Here's to a new year, new beginnings and big plans ahead for us all. Praying for a great year filled with love, joy, happiness, health and amazing memories made!!

We were so blessed for Christmas this year as always. We started the morning off with opening presents. This year before we started we talked to the kids about the true meaning of Christmas. Once we did that thebtore into their gifts. They were all so cute and excited about everything!! Once we were all done we headed over to Layne's moms house for our annual breakfast. Its always delicious and a great tradition. We all opened presents there and hung out for a while and then headed home. My dad came over and brought us presents which ththe kids LOVED!! The kids played with all their stuff and we kind of chilled. We had some friends and family over for a huge dinner. We had a feast and lots of fun hanging out with people we love. We of course we cant go a holiday with out visiting our sweet angel. We brought him gifts of love and sent kisses to heaven. Its always bittersweet but I wouldn't change it for the world.  We are so blessed!!

Christmas Eve

We have so many fun traditions on Christmas Eve. We went to Layne's families annual dinner which is always full of amazing food, good company and cousins playing. When we got home the kids found that the elves had come and brought Christmas jammies and s new movie to watch. We got the reindeer food ready, went and put it outside, the kids got their jammies on and Layne read twas the night before Christmas we had our yummy pina colada drinks  (virgin for thr kids) while the story was read. We tracked Santa on my phone and once he was close the kids hurried to bed so that Santa would stop. Christmas is such a magical time with kids!! We are so blessed!!
