New Years Eve

New Years Eve was lots of fun this year. We did our annual tradition of going to my friends house to ring in the New Year. We go there so the kids can play. adults can play and so we can be safe from all the crazy drivers. We have lots of fun playing games. watching the ball drop, doing fireworks and making breakfast at midnight. We've done this for the past 3 years and its become quite the tradition. It was a great night filled with love and fun! In 2013 I have decided to use a word rather than making New Years Resolutions. my words this year are PATIENCE and LOVE! I want to be so much more patient with those around me, love more, judge less and help those around me! So that's what I will be working on!! 2012 was quite the year lots of ups and downs, highs and lows I'm excited to see what 2013 will bring!! Here's to a great New Year!!

I came across your blog & I'm so sorry for your loss. Even though it was a while ago, I'm sure you still feel the heartache everyday. The picture of your sweet Kael is beautiful. What a sweet little angel. I lost my only grandson, Ollie, in March. He drowned in a washing machine. Death is so harsh sometimes. When we share each others grief, it makes it seem lighter. My daughters story is here: hebbsters.blogspot.com
I have just started a blog for the grandparents.
We are mourning the loss of our grandchild & trying to help our children get through each day.
Sending love & hugs to you.
