My first blog giveaway!!!

Hi all!! I'm so excited to be apart of this giveaway this year what a lovely thing that Tina has done over the past few years. I am sorry that you are here due to the fact that makes you a BLM. But I am glad to be participating in this giveaway in hopes it brings someone a little bit of joy during this very hard time of year!! I look forward to "meeting" each of you through my blog! To enter this giveaway just leave a comment with your name and a special memory of your sweet angel. Kael is our 3rd son. He was born with a neuromuscular condition and had to work very hard at life. He spent 4 and a half of his 5 months 3 weeks here on earth in the hospital. The time that we did have him home was AMAZING though. We got his pictures done, we got him blessed in our church, we took walks, he was able to lay in the grass and even attend a BYU football game which is a huge thing in our family. He was such a special spirit and every time we held him we knew he was a special gift. He made our lives so fantastic. He fought everyday for his life and was such a hero. He never gave up and for that we are grateful!! He makes me want to be a better person every day! If I can be only half the person he was in his short little life it would be a miracle. I sure look up to that little boy and miss him like you couldn't believe. A few months back I won a giveaway which was a figurine from the Willow Tree line. I love it, it makes me smile every time I see it and so since I'm not overly crafty I decided I would give away a angel from the willow tree line. It is "The angel of light" It has the angel holding a star. Stars remind me of Kael and all of our angels watching over us from up above. It is a beautiful piece and I cant wait to give it to one of you. I realize I'm posting this a bit early but my day is in oh about 5 hours and I didn't want to be late with the rushing of the morning time so I figured better early than late :). I will leave this giveaway up from now through tomorrow night and announce the winner on Monday!! Best luck to you all. I hope you feel your angels near and that this holiday season is gentle on you. Much love to all of my BLM'S!!

I would love to be entered in your giveaway. I've been following your blog for a long while. I'm mommy to angel Calypso who was born 6.14.2007 at 29 weeks 5 days. She lived for 3 weeks 2 days before we made the decision to let her go home without us

Of course I want to enter. :) A special memory I have with my sweet angel Pierce is when the music therapist and my little 5 year old sang to him while his brother held him for the first and only time.

I would love to be entered. I have three angels :*( Riley (2/11/10) Peyton (8/19/10) and Cameron (10/14/11) who is the twin of Logan who I am currently pregnant with. I will never forget any of the days when I got my BFP on my pregnancy tests. Also the amazing experience of finding out I was pregnant with twins and hearing both their heartbeats, I am glad that my Nana is now with my babies because I know she is giving them all the love, hugs, and kisses that they deserve. I am almost 21 weeks pregnant with Logan and pray that my rainbow will make it into our arms <3 Thank you for this giveaway!

I would love to enter! My angel Teagan was born prematurely, I was unconscious (from emergency c-section) for her short life. I remember when I held her in my arms for the first time. Her spirit was there also and she is perfect. Tiny and perfect. I know my daughter because even death cannot separate the bond between mother and child.

Thank you for having such a beautiful giveaway Brigette! Love the figurine that you chose! Kael is such a beautiful angel and you, his daddy and brothers watched over and took good care of him here on earth. Now he is up there in heaven watching over all of you and smiling so big <3

I have two angels Mikayla Grace (6/13/10-6/15/10) and Chase Gabriel (4/22/11) and whenever I see butterflies or chickadees it reminds me of them. Last year all the butterflies (which reminded me of Mikayla) go away in winter obviously but this year we have many little Chickadees (remind me of Chase) still around and it makes me smile. Since this is our first Christmas without him it brings me peace to feel his spirit close to me.

I love willow trees and I love stars. Hearts remind me of my Sienna cause she had a hole in her heart and I love to think her heart is full now. The memories I have of her are when I was pregnant and enjoying every kick cause she was stillborn when I was 31 weeks pregnant.

I would love to win this! It's a great way to remember my angels, Drew and "Albos" who are looking down upon us.

This is beautiful. My memories with River are being pregnant and enjoying 6 short days with him. I remember smiling A LOT, while he was alive. I have a hard time believing he's not here, but I also believed I am blessed to be his mom. Thank you for participating, and sharing Kael with us.

Brigette, this is beautiful and you wrote a lovely post about your sweet Kael. I would love to be entered in your giveaway. My favorite memory about Meredith is that she was the little girl I wanted. At that time, sonograms were probably invented but they weren't used in OB offices. So we didn't know her gender before birth. Just wish I had gotten to hold her & know her better.

I'm so sorry for the loss of your son Kael, he is a beautiful baby. I hope that you are able to find as much peace as possible this Christmas. I love the Willow Tree angel - I have a couple of different ones but I absolutely love this one because it has a star and stars remind me of my daughter Freja too. XOXO

I love you read your blog and look for updates daily. Its wonderful to see and hear how each one of your kids are doing. I often think of Kael and where he'd be today as my little JoLynn is the same age as him. I'm so glad that he has a family here on earth that is as wonderful as the one he has in heaven!
Hugs
Lynette and JoLynn

I'm so sorry for the loss of your beautiful Kael. We lost our fifth child (fourth son) during my labour on May 19, 2009. George was full-term, stillborn and I miss and long for him every single day. When he was born he was so beautiful, identical to his big brothers and sister. He had peach fuzz hair, big feet and massive hands. My husband and I kissed him and held him and agreed he'd have given his big brothers a run for their money had he lived. Wishing you and your family peace and love.

Landry was the most determined baby I have ever known. He came for a vey short while but we will treasure each and every special moment we had with him. We know he watches over us and stays very close to us especially his big brother Owen.
Merry Christmas!

I love Willow Tree too! I love the metaphor of light as hope...light overcomes the darkness. I lost two babies to second trimester miscarriage and my rainbow Anders is 10 months. I look forward to following your blog!

How wonderful to do a giveway :)

I love, love, love Willow Tree!!

Of course I have MANY great memories of Beckett but probably my favorite are the simple ones...of me and him hanging out in bed watching TV - cuddling :( I miss those times the most.
