Festival of Trees!!!
Last night Layne and I got together with our friends Ryan and Kendra to go to the Festival of Trees and then out to dinner. We sure love Kendra and Ryan! We always have a good time when we are together they make us smile and we know its "safe" to talk about our angel babies since we both know what each other is going through to a certain degree. I picture our angel babies playing in heaven together what a beautiful sight that must be!! Anyways it was tons of fun I'm glad we were all able to go. The festival of trees is a benefit for the AMAZING hospital Primary Children's which helped both of our sweet babies out so much while they were here on earth! What a great place they are such amazing things they do. People donate trees big and small, center pieces, gingerbread houses, wreaths, they have entertainment, treats and crafts for the kids to do. I cant explain the feeling I get when we walk those isles reading the stories of the people the tree is in honor of, it brings tears to my eyes every single time. What strong little fighters all of those kids are, even the adults have such amazing stories its a feeling I wish I got all the time. Its like all those sweet angels are right there in that room. Its unreal. 2 years ago a friend of Layne's donated a tree in Kaels honor, I was going to make one this year but ran out of time before I knew it the trees were due so I didn't get it done but I have made up my mind I am making one for next year for sure, no ifs, ands or buts about it... I am doing it!! What a great way to honor Kael and also help out the hospital that helped him to live!! I already have the theme and will start early on next year!! I can hardly wait. As Layne and I were wrapping the kids Christmas presents last night it kept hitting me in the face that I should be wrapping gifts for 4 boys not 3... and I decided that the tree would be my gift to Kael. I took some pictures of the trees last night. One of them is a little girl who I know through my sister. She was such a beautiful little girl whose life was taken to soon. Her mom does a beautiful tree every year. I hope mine will turn out half as good!! Thinking of all the angel babies today and praying their in heaven dancing, laughing, playing and having the time of their lives!!!

What an awesome event. I'm sure your tree next year will be great! And what a wonderful gift for Kael, I know he will love it.
I love the festival of trees. I wish I lived in Utah so I could have gone. That will be a wonderful thing for you to do next year.
