Time seems to go so quickly.. I know I say that all the time but it seems so real! Lots of things going on, the scouts did a rain gutter regatta. It was fun all the kids got to make sail boats and race them outside in rain gutters. It was really fun for everyone, we've had lots of doctors appointments for Tiara she is doing well and growing everyday. We sure love her, we bought Lagoon Season Passes and have been once our next planned date is for Stefons birthday. Tiara is almost walking, shes talking like crazy and has been quite the snuggle bug lately oh how I eat up those snuggles. The boys have been loving going on walks by the canal, playing at the park and enjoying friends. Sometimes I feel like I miss the little things so I wanted to stop and jot a few down. I love that we are staying busy but sometimes at night when all the fuss slows down I stop and take extra time to remember and think about Kael. I have been missing him so much lately, trying to dig within myself to feel closer to him, begging to feel something, wishing, hoping and praying that he is happy and safe and that he knows of our love for him. I am working on getting closer with god, figuring out what that means for me. Its for sure not the same as for most but I am working hard each day to build a relationship, trying to understand more, praying for some sort of relationship with him. A good friend of mine told me pray, pray all day if you must, pray in the car with the radio down just start with prayer. So thats what I have done. I am trying to figure out what works best for me and helps me to understand and feel god more. One day at a time. I find myself snuggling up in Kaels blanket just praying for him, for me, for us, for the kids. One sweet day at a time!!

Its Summer Time!!
Another school year down. I cant believe its over for reals it seems like it just started!! Landon graduated from preschool. He went to the one at the school where the older two go and it wasn't a mistake! His teachers were amazing, he learned so much and when they did end of the year testing he scored above average and top of class. I am so proud of him and how far he has come. He kept saying he would be sad and miss his teachers but couldn't wait to go to Kindergarten!! and Stefon both finished the year with perfect attendance and Honor Roll. They also had some good teachers. Stefons was amazing! I love her so much she was great with Stefon and taught him so much. He is above grade level in reading and math now. I am stocked because she is moving to 3rd grade next year and requested Stefon to be in her class again. Dax had a sweet teacher who was so patient and kind. She made 3rd grade so fun and taught Daxton so much. We have been really lucky to have good teachers. Here is to a great year.... now off to a fun summer!!

The Zoo!!
A few weekends ago we headed to the zoo as a family!! The weather was beautiful and we had alot of fun!! It was Tiaras first time she was so excited with all of the animals and was making all of the noises that they made. So adorable. The boys had a blast to because all the stuff they were re doing was done and it was so much better!!! It was a great day!! Afterwards it was so hot that we headed out to the new ice cream place called Ritas. It was as yummy as everyone has said and such a refreshing treat after a long day at the zoo. Oh how I love days like this. Spent with the ones I love most. I am one blessed mama!!

Memorial Day ...
We had a great Memorial Day visiting family at the cemetery, lots of BBQ'ing, walks, park, roasting marshmallows, watching movies, playing soccer, naps, and buying a brand new truck... not just new to us but new off the lot. EEEEKK i'm still in a little bit of disbelief I finally got my dream truck and its new :). My van was a few years old and starting to have a few issues and we didnt want to pour a ton of money into it so we traded it in. It was so nice to be able to spend time with family and friends remember our loved ones and the ones who lost their lives in order to save our country. Layne and I both have family in the service and we would never take a second of it for granted. We are so thankful to all of the men and women in the service who sacrifice each day to allow us to live the lives that we do. The cemetery is always beautiful this year. Landon was so sweet hugging Kaels grave and blowing kisses he says he misses Kael.. they must have known each other in the previous life. Tiara is always trying to help us put things on his grave I cant wait to help her understand why we go there and the legacy Kael left behind. Dax and Stefon are great helpers and always want to make sure it looks just perfect. I am thankful for my sweet kiddos and the love they have for their brother. Another great Memorial Day in the books.
2nd grade all party
In the second grade at the boys school they don't have kids bring in treats for their birthdays but rather do a big part towards the end of the year and everyone celebrates together. Its nice for the summer bday kids so they don't miss out. I went and helped out in Stefons class. It was lots of fun there were 3 rounds of different kids and then at the end they had a huge ice cream sundae and cupcake party. Stefons teacher gave each of them a present he was so happy his was a chapter book. He is really into those lately! It was a fun way to spend the afternoon! I love that Stefons not to cool to still hang out with his mom and will even hold my hand the hallway ;) such a sweet kiddo! After school we all headed out for slurpees... its safe to say Tiaras first one was a hit!

Daxton turns 9!!
Holy smokes!! 1 year away from double digits I can hardly believe it!! This kid is growing up so fast. He is the best big brother anyone could ask for, he is smart and learning so much! He is great at soccer, football and even four square. He is such a sweet kid always helping me out and helping out his siblings. He loves scouts and is doing an amazing job he just moved into the Bear den on his birthday. He loves his dogs, and likes to ride his bike. For his birthday he asked for a Harley so we found him a kid sized one so that along with a Lagoon season pass were his big presents this year. He wanted to have a army themed birthday party so thats just what we did. He had lots of friends and family come he is one lucky loved and supported kid! For the day of his birthday we let him pick dinner anything or place he wanted to go... he picked steaks on the grill at home. That boy loves his steaks!! It was a great day of celebrating Dax. On his birthday we went and did his birthday pictures downtown and then I surprised him with lunch at school. I'm glad he doesn't think hes to cool for his mom to come have lunch with him yet... im sure that day is coming soon. We are so lucky to have Daxton here with us. I wouldn't trade this kid for the world. I wish I could bottle up his kidness though ha ha.. he is growing up so fast! Happy Birthday Daxton we love you!!!
