Great Strides 2014

This year we made up a team for Tiara for the Great Strides walk. It is an amazing walk where all of the money made goes to the cystic fibrosis foundation to research medications and ultimately a cure for C.F. right now CF stands for cystic fibrosis but we are praying everyday that it stands for cure found. We had a team of 29 people this year that walked with us any many many more who donated. Our team raise $1,350 which is a huge accomplishment for our first year. Our team name was Tiaras Triumph. We had yellow shirts made with the purple CF symbol and a crown for Tiara. A nice guy helped us out with the shirts and only charged us a few bucks per shirt. We are so blessed. The walk was amazing it was a 5k  downtown it was amazing to see all the love and support surrounding the disease. It was nice to finally  meet some of the cute kiddos of the mamas that I talk to often and go to dinner with sometimes. These kids and even grown ups with CF are amazing they are strong true fighters! They had a huge carnival where the race started and gave out all kinds of free stuff. It was such a great event. I cant wait to get started for next year!! We are so blessed to have the love and support of so many people. We cant thank everyone enough for all that they have done and continue to do for us. Our family gets the benefits of so much love, support and kindness so thank you thank you thank you to all of our supporters out there. We are very blessed! We are getting closer and closer to a cure each day and I couldnt be more thankful. Heres to praying it comes sooner than later :).
