Hi friends meet sweet Ruby!! I met her mom online through the BLM community. Ruby would be 1 years old this year and her mom is doing a give away each day that she lived for. It is such a sweet thing to do. I adore Rubys mama and was happy to jump at the chance to join in. Here is a link to her blog if you'd like to read more http://warburtonblog.blogspot.com/
Here are the rules....
All you have to do is a act of kindness... it can be as big or as small as you'd like!! Leave me a comment telling me what is it you did and you are entered to win.
As part of the giveaway Ruby's mama asked that we have it be something red that reminds me of Ruby so I picked up this cozy warm scarf and some ruby red nail polish. Its so sparkly and red it reminds me of Ruby's beautiful little eyes!!
I will leave the give away open for 5 days and will announce the winner on the 19th! Please leave your email along with your good deed so that I can get ahold of you if you are the winner!
This giveaway has made me smile and also has made me stop and think to do something nice everyday for someone else. You never know when that small act of kindness will heal anothers heart!
Praying for you every day sweet Ruby! I know your flying high in heaven!!

What a great giveaway! I am Kristin's sister and love how many people are such a big support to her and her family. My act of service was taking a meal to a neighbor.
Love the nail polish and the scarf! My act of kindness was visiting a new friend and her very sick baby in the hospital.
I am not an amazing person.. I do try to do my best which is sometimes not as good as other people. But every Sunday I pick up a little lady to take to church. She is developmentally challenged. She lives on her own in a house her sister owns and her sisters house is right next to hers. She has never been married and does not drive a car. She is rather like a 10 year old in some ways but in other ways she is wise beyond her handicapped years. She can really make me laugh. Sometimes, though, when I go to pick her up she will be tardy and I have to feed her cat or take out her dog or find her keys. We have been working on her being more responsible and on time especially to church. I told her that when she is late to church she is kind of sending Jesus a little message that suggests that he isn't important enough to be on time to church for. She is doing alot better but sometimes, like I have always been, I am impatient and think not so nice thoughts. I am working on improving and so is she. We both are growing together. I have been picking her up for church for about the last 4 years. She has just finished the temple preparation class and is eager to be allowed to go to the temple. I will be the one doing that, too. I am a little selfish with my time. So as this will be good for her, I will be learning to be more charitable. I think amidst my weaknesses I am trying to be a good person and hopefully pretty soon I won't have to try so hard. I will naturally do it without any worries or frustrations. My email address is: felsman@dats.com. I am not really that interested in the prize. But I think it is good to let others out there who don't know us, that we are trying. So many people are trying to be good and overcome our unChristlike attitudes. We just can't give up... keep trying and we will finally be all that God wants and needs us to be.
Love the scarf! My name is Katie and my email is kmmakos@gmail.com. I often try to do one random act of kindness a day, whether it is picking up a piece of garbage in the hallway (I am an elementary music teacher), or giving a stranger a smile. Last night I visited my parents and surprised my mom by doing the dishes and cleaning her kitchen. I hope to win so when wear the scarf I can be reminded of the miracle that is Ruby. <3
Hi! Jess Martin, email address is Jessica.Martin.9807@gmail.com. I've been trying to keep Ruby in mind as I do acts of service. I was at the gas station when a very pregnant woman dropped something. I hurried over and picked it up for her so she wouldn't have to. Small, but I know appreciated.
Brigette. My name is Andrea. I am Kristin's sister. I love the red scarf it is so pretty. I want to thank you for being a part of this. I also want to thank you for being a comfort to Kristin. I have tried to be a nice support, but I have never lost a child. I think it helps to have friends who understand that. Thank you. My random act of kindness was making red cookies for the bus drivers.
My name is Elise. I love the red scarf too! My random act of kindness was to help a man with only one leg into the elevator today ... I know, nothing big, but I thought of Ruby while doing it.

How fun! my act of kindness was I let a mom in my church borrow one of my fancy outfits so she could go to a nice dinner out with her husband. Loved reading about your sweet baby boy. I'm sure him and ruby are flying around together.

I have loved doing acts of kindness in remember acne of Ruby! My act of kindness was to help my friend with an injured foot by leading the congregation at church today. I love the songs he chose, so it was a great experience. The closing song was "Lord, I Would Follow Thee." As we sang, I thought of how blessed I am and what service I could give in return.
I love the idea of everyone doing acts of kindness in Remembrance of Ruby! I can not imagine the pain of losing a child and hope to never have to, but I find it very inspiring that sweet Ruby is remembered through kindness and service. That is how our Heavenly Father would want us to remember those we love. My act of kindness today was making and taking dinner to my hubby at work. He works full time, goes to school full time, and works part time as a fire fighter. He is doing a 24 hr shift so me and our daughter made him one of his favorite meals and took him dinner and spent time hanging out at the station.
My email is amber.hill213@gmail.com
I am entering for my friend Chandi whose phone won't let her enter. Chandi's little boy, Porter was born still last January. She is collecting fabric right now to donate blankets to the local hospitals in her area. She would love to win this!
Love your giveaway!!! Kristin has so many wonderful friends helping her! Today I let an older couple go ahead of me in line at the store. They were only purchasing a card, so it was no big deal, but it made me think of Ruby! They were very happy they did not have to wait in line!
my little act of service was cleaning the church a bit after sacrament when i saw lots of crumbs from snacks. excited for your giveaway.

This seems like a lame service, but I helped my mom do some things on the computer (she is quite technologically challenged). :) I am enjoying the challenge to be more conscious of the small acts of service I can do for my friends, family, and community.
Love the scarf and polish! It is so great the support Kristin and Jared are getting from everyone like you! I am Ruby's Nana Pam (Kristin's Mom). I helped my work set up their new cash register system, they are technology challenged.
I am entering for my friend, Karyn. She took care of her friend's 3 little girls so their mom could go to an appointment. She would love the scarf for Utah this winter. She also works in a salon giving manicures & pedicures and would love to add this color to her collection.
I am entering for my friend, Jodi. She has been handing out water bottles to the trash collectors who work in the hot sun.
I forgot to leave you my email, I am Kristin's mom, Ruby's nana. pamdegraw@yahoo.com
