Memories...

Last weekend the Bott family (my dads family) got together at my grandparents old house for one last "cheesie night". My cousin had bought the home from my grandpa when he moved after my grandma had passed away and my cousin has lived there ever since. Well she recently got married and is moving in to her husbands home so before the house sold she saw fit to have one last "cheesie night". What is cheesie night you ask? My grandma used to make cheesise which is just broiling bread and melting cheese on top, shed make yummy jello salads, have tons of clover club chips and the most delicious slush you could imagine. She also made the yummiest desserts. All of us brought something to share the last cheesie night. We made sure to bring the "special brands" that my grandma insisted on using. The bread had to be Home pride, the cheese only cheddar and the chips Clover Club. It really was so fun getting everyone together and remembering all the good times at grandma and grandpa Botts. It was really fun showing my kids one of the traditions that we used to do as kids and catching up with all of the cousins. We don't all get together much so it is alot of fun when we do!!
