Bountiful Days
Growing up in Bountiful it was always a tradition to participate in Bountiful Days. As we started having kids we decided to keep the traditions going. Yesterday was Bountiful Days. They have a big parade, carnival and then fireworks when it gets dark. We had so much fun at the parade, Landon was so cute clapping and standing up to jump up and down, Dax and Stefon loved catching the stuff that was being thrown out from the floats etc. It was really a great time. Afterwards we headed to the park for the carnival. The kids had a good time riding rides, playing games and eating cotton candy. When we were all done there we headed up the mountain to watch the fireworks. It was a perfect ending to such a fun day!
Rocky Mountain Raceway!!
Last weekend we took the boys to the rocky mountain raceway to see some races. The boys thought it was awesome and their favorite part was the train races when they would crash, watching them was hilarious they had such a good time. The next day we did some back to school shopping and also went to see Madagascar 3 and went out to dinner.I was amazed that Landon sat through the whole movie and didnt move a inch. He loved it and gobbled up all the popcorn as well. It was such a fun weekend filled with laughs, love and memories!

Sometimes I wonder if people think im crazy for wanting to do so many things for Kael even though we are 3.5 years out from him passing away.. Always I will do them regardless what people think because he is our son, brother, nephew, grandson etc and I wont ever allow him to be forgotten even if it just our little family that remembers.
Sometimes I wish I could sleep for a few days in a row Always I wake up every day, get the kids ready and head out to acomplish our every day things.
Sometimes I do really well at exercising.. Always I drop off of the deep end and have to start over (I need to get much better at this anyone out there have some super motivating stuff for me to try out?)
Sometimes I wish I could sing really well.. Always instead I turn the radio up and rock out pretending I can sing :).
There are many others but I think I will save some for next week :).

Isnt he lovely??
I cant get this sweet little boy off of my mind. Its not a sad cant get off of my mind but a I am so lucky to have such an amazing little boy be part of my life kind of feeling off of my mind. How blessed we are to call him our own. How lucky we are to know he is ours. I just want to run my fingers over all of his pictures and his things, smell his smell, remember his chubby little legs, soft little cheeks, his subtle little smile and hear his little coos. Oh how I love this little guy so much.. he is amazing, he is special,he is loved! I sure hope he knows that!!

Fishing Fun!!
This weekend we took the boys up to Wyoming for their first fishing trip! Layne's brother lives up there and it was his birthday this week so it was time for celebrating. The kids had so much fun!! They never got bored, didn't fight they were just content being out in the wilderness, seeing all of the wild life and most importantly catching some fish!! We went up Friday night and headed home earlier today. Both Daxton and Stefon caught their first fish!! Landon caught one to but it was to small so we had to set him free. It was nice being away for a bit from the hustle and bustle. Being out in the wilderness always brings my mind to thinking about life. I am so grateful for this life that I have. All though its not perfect its pretty amazing and I need to remember more often how truly lucky I am. The kids helped me find some sticks and we wrote out Kaels initials so that we could have a little taste of him on this mini getaway as well. It was a special weekend pack full of fun memories made. I'm grateful for the opportunities to build such memories. I love my little family with my whole heart!
Happy Birthday America!!
I love the 4th of July. Its such a fun holiday and nice to get a extra day off during the summer!! Its so fun to spend time with family and teach the kids about why we celebrate this fun holiday! This year due to all of the fires fireworks were banned from our area so on Tuesday night we went and watched the big show put on by the city. It was beautiful they did a good 30 min show and the kids LOVED it! I love thinking about what fireworks must look like from heaven. On wed July 4th we woke up late, went to breakfast at the I-Hop, then Layne and the boys made these really fun cars and Landon a train. It was cute watching them work together to build them, we then went swimming and came home for a BBQ. It was a lovely day filled with lots of fun, memories and love. We decorated Kaels grave for the 4th and Daxton told him that he hoped he could see the beautiful fireworks from heaven. What a fine time had by all!

Sufficient Grace Ministires
Being in the Baby Loss mommy club and being online I have found many AMAZING people and many AMAZING resources. Today I wanted to do a quick spotlight on one that I love a whole lot! The women who run this blog are so strong, giving and have been great examples to me!! Sufficient Grace Ministries is there for families that have lost babies. They provide resources free of charge and do many great things to aide families in need when they are in the depths of despair. The women who run the blog and website have inspirational stories to share, they uplift other women and they are always there to lend a ear and helpful advice! They often have fundraisers and events to raise money for the organization so they can continue to aide these families. If you are in need of help, would like to donate, or just would like to read inspirational posts you should hop on over to http://sufficientgraceministries.org/. You wont be sad that you stopped by! I am so grateful that I ran into this site and have "met" the sweet ladies involved that I have. They have helped me out in rough times and continue to be examples to me. Thank you Kelly and Hollie! I appreciate you and the hard work that you ladies do!
