One of my new years goals was to do more mommy/son dates. Yesterday was early out day so I took Daxton on a little lunch date. He wanted to go to Wingers so off we went. It was lots of fun sweet Daxton said "Mommy this is the best lunch ever I love you so much." Moments like this are priceless!! I love him so much. Hes doing so well in school, and being such a good helper at home its fun to reward him with special dates. All the boys love alone mommy time as do I. Its lots of fun to see their different personalities and bond with them on a 1 on 1 level. I love my boys so much! They mean the world to me!! I'm so glad that we get the chance to build fun memories like this! Enjoy the pics from our fun lunch date.

So please, please, please get in contact with me if you have blankets and I can pick them up or we can meet up or whatever. Id love to get the total to 300 or more!! I appreciate all you guys have done and hope that these blankets make a difference in the lives of the sick children at the hospital. Happy St Pattys Day!!
We LOVE holidays at our house!! We make it as fun for the kids as possible!! So late last night... the Leprechauns visited.. they left their green feet all over the house, dropped gold coins throughout and left a pot of gold for the kids along with St. Patty day shirts and green glow stick bracelets. The kids were so excited this morning!! They think the leprechauns are so naughty for making a mess ;0). They loved their prizes and finding a pot of gold. We made green colored breakfast for them got them all dressed up and sent them to school. Holidays are so much funner with kids around. To see the excitement in their eyes and to have the imagination they have is simply amazing! To bad adults don't see life in that way.. our lives would be so much easier!! Times like this are bitter sweet for me... I love seeing the kids so excited but my heart strings get pulled a little bit knowing there should be 1 more little boy running around excited that the leprechauns came to visit... I do my best each day at a time, sometimes by the minute even but were making it!! I hope you all have a HAPPY ST. PATTY'S DAY!!

Joyful Fridays
I know this sweet girl names Lisa. She has started this awesome blog and does JOYFUL FRIDAYS. I have decided to link up with her this Friday and write a happy joyful post. Ive been a bit down as of late and I wanted to post something up lifting today. So as you all know I am joyful about many thins and so grateful for everything I do have but today I am extra joyful and thankful for my youngest son Landon. After loosing Kael the pregnancy journey was TOUGH!! I was always so scared that something would be wrong with the new baby, would it be to hard to have another little boy after loosing his brother, could I love him enough, crazy I know but through all 9 months I worried and I stressed!! When Landon got here breathing and crying it was an amazing moment! I cried and cried and was so grateful we was here safe and sound! As Landon has gotten bigger we have had some scares. Lots of testing, MRI's, follow ups with the docs and in late April early May he will even need some surgery to help him. The doctors are going to go in and fix the muscles in his eyes so that he no longer goes cross eyed. The doctors worried because at Landon's 18 month visit he wasn't walking still and his lower muscles didn't seem to be responding well... Well about 1 week after his last appointment my AMAZING little fighter started WALKING all over the place!! I cant even begin to describe the JOY!!! Every time he starts walking around it brings tears to my eyes!! He is such a fighter and such a miracle boy. He has brought me lots of joy and peace. I picture Kael watching over Landon until he made it here safe.. that's brings me joy as well. What an amazing LIFE we have, what an amazing world we live in.... Anyways I guess long story short I know we may still have hurdles ahead but we embrace them 1 day at a time and just be JOYFUL for the moment we are in now. I can for sure tell you that Landon walking has brought me great JOY!! So head on over to Lisa's blog and link up if you'd like to. Her blog address is http://www.joyfuljones.com/ she is such a sweet girl and always has some amazing things to talk about!! I hope you all find a little bit of Joy today as well!! Much love as always!

My brother got married.
Last night my little brother had his reception. He and his wife got married a few weeks back but so that out of town people could make it to the reception they had it last night. They are such a cute couple and I'm so happy for them. It was lots of fun to be at their reception and watch their video, take pics do the whole cake thing, just have lots of fun!! We got lots of fun pics and had a good old time. Brought me back to the day Layne and I got married I cant believe its almost been 7 years ago.. time sure does fly and so many things have changed but through it all our love has just gotten stronger. I sure love my hubby and am grateful for him. Its crazy to think my little brother is married though. Life sure does go fast!! Hope you enjoy the pics we had lots of fun taking them last night!!
Field trip to the dentist.
So for February's filed trip Stefons teacher set them up to go to a dental office to learn about good dental hygiene and to get them comfortable with the dentist. The kids had lots of fun learning about brushing and what happens at the dentist. The nurse showed them all the tools they use and explained them all and then gave each kid a ride on the fun chair that goes up and down. When the kids were done learning they all got a free tooth brush and played in the little cave that the dentist office had. The kids seemed to have a blast and really listened when the lady talked. It was lots of fun as usual and Stefon was glad I could come. He was so sweet and wanted to hold my hand while we were there. Another month down with preschool I cant believe how fast this year is going it will be summer before I know it!! Here are a few pictures from our fun!!

WHY????
Today I need to write I'm not sure why the last few days have been hard, I'm sure its because your birthday is soon approaching and I don't have my sweet little Kael to hold in my arms to love and sing Happy Birthday to and to plan a fun party for. Ive been having flash backs these past few days of the horrible events, I can see his sweet little face gasping for air , I see him in that tiny little hospital bed hooked up to all those machines fighting for his life and being so brave just so we can keep him a little longer, I feel him limp in my arms, pale as can be fighting the urge to just run away with him instead of handing him over to the sweet man from the mortuary, because if I could just run far enough and fast enough away this nightmare would all be gone and he'd be alive and wed be living happily as can be... The bad thing is I couldn't run away, I didn't have the option to be selfish any more, it wasn't meant to be... You were meant for bigger, better things than this crazy thing we call life. You fought so hard, you did all you could to make it possible for us to keep you as long as we did!! You were such a hero, such a fighter you set such a good example for me to try and live up to. You are amazing and I just wish I could see your face one more time, hold you one more time and sing you just one more lullaby or read you one more book. I love how you loved the music, you were always so calm when it would play. I love you and miss you so much my sweet boy!! Thanks for all that you have taught me and continue to teach me. You have made me want to be a better person... I love you to the moon and back and I hope you can feel that love. I'm sorry for those of you reading who think I should just be over this and that its been over 2 years... some days though to me it seems like its only been a blink of an eye... lots of days are good ones now I try the best I can but some days are hard and I just want to cry, scream and yell... I know its hard for some to understand. This is all over the place and I apologize for that but sometimes I just have to get things off my chest. Mommy loves you sweet boy!! Thanks for all you have taught me.. I hope that I can make you proud, daddy and I are working hard.. everyday to the moon and back much love!! Mommy
